Go Local!

I posted this link about a year ago, but I think it's time to post it again. Local Harvest maintains a search site where you can find local organic and conventional produce, dairy products, etc, directly from local farmers, through retail outlets, and even the restaurants that feature the region's fresh best.

Buying local guarantees a lot of goodness - to name a few:

*reduced greenhouse gases by avoiding transport of produce across continents and oceans


*better-tasting produce because it can be harvested closer to the date-of-sale


*support of your local economy
